Extremely good at (almost obsessed with) data

We believe that data is the lifeblood of marketing, and marketers must be completely engrossed with it. This entails ensuring that all attributions are set up accurately, regularly reviewing data, and making informed decisions on which marketing initiatives are effective and which ones we should start, stop, or continue.

Extremely passionate about marketing (and ideally, Web3 too)

Our team consists of nerds who are ridiculously good at what they do. Our Director of Engineering, Lew is by far the best engineers we know of and she is obsessed with code (she spends weekends looking at open source code, hacking on various things for fun and watches programming YouTube videos all the time). We want someone who exhibits a similar level of passion for marketing. We’re also of the opinion that to be truly great at marketing, you must understand what you’re marketing almost better than anyone else, and so passion for Web3 and NFTs or eagerness to learn even if you haven’t been exposed to Web3 or NFTs just yet is what we’re looking for.

Resourceful

We value resourcefulness over experience, meaning that you don't need an extensive background as long as you're the right kind of person who can figure things out on their own.

Our 18-year-old COO, Nate, is a prime example, learning everything on the spot and handling everything (legal, accounting, payroll, discord setup, Customer Support, Google Analytics and so on) for us without prompting.

Our 20-year-old Director of Engineering, Lew, is another fantastic example - she was first hired at her prior job at age 17 and quickly rose to become the top engineer out of a team of 100 engineers with far more experience in a single year, coming from a background of being entirely self-taught from building Discord apps and Minecraft plugins as a teenager.

That's why we don't require "X years of experience"—if you're the right fit, you'll figure it out regardless of prior experience.

We regularly hear from our investors and friends in the industry that they’re blown away by our pace of product velocity - and we strongly believe it’s because we have an outsized advantage in that we’ve always indexed for extraordinarily resourceful, driven and innately motivated people obsessed with their craft, and have been very flexible in providing an environment in which people like that can thrive without the conventional constraints or stigma they might experience elsewhere coming from unorthodox backgrounds or being exceptionally young without traditional experience, and so forth.

Fast learner

Our company moves at lightning speed, boasting world-class product velocity, and we're all fast learners. Our designer, Jenny, didn't attend design school or have any professional design experience but has proven to be an incredibly quick learner, picking up every skill needed for her role without formal instruction. Startups require adaptability, so we're looking for someone who can learn rapidly and keep pace with our dynamic environment.
